Laser Hair Removal Aftercare: Do’s and Don’ts

Good laser hair removal aftercare protects your skin and helps your results last. The good news: it’s simple.

The First 24–48 Hours

  • Do soothe any redness with a cool compress or aloe.
  • Don’t take hot showers, hit the sauna, or do intense workouts that overheat the skin.
  • Do keep the area clean and moisturized.

The First Weeks

  • Do wear SPF and avoid direct sun on treated areas — skin is more sensitive after treatment.
  • Don’t wax, pluck, or thread between sessions — it removes the follicle the laser needs. Shaving is fine.
  • Do expect some hairs to shed over 1–2 weeks — that’s normal.

Between sessions of your laser hair removal in Ogden series, these habits keep results on track. Questions? Call (855) 381-6298.
